1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using TaxShave, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
2. Description of Services
TaxShave provides tools for:
- Expense and mileage tracking
- Receipt capture and storage
- Automatic categorization and bank syncing via Plaid
- Report generation (PDF/CSV)
- Secure data sharing with CPA partners
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Use TaxShave only for lawful purposes
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Not misuse, copy, or resell our software or data
4. CPA Partner Accounts
CPA partners can access client data only with the client's explicit consent. Unauthorized sharing or export of client data is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or legal action.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Certain features (e.g., CPA integration or advanced reporting) may require a paid subscription.
- Fees are billed monthly or annually.
- You can cancel anytime in Settings → Subscription Management.
- No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
6. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, code, and designs are owned by TaxShave Inc. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without prior written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
TaxShave is not responsible for:
- Incorrect financial data due to third-party integrations
- Tax filing errors resulting from user-input inaccuracies
- Losses arising from unauthorized access beyond our control
Our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fee paid in the 12 months preceding the incident.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse system resources. You may close your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located within the State of Delaware.
